I know caboose on ps3 we met
randomly in a ps3 game about 3 months ago.

and sony vegas 7.0 to edit and im trying to learn to use CS4 after effects but im finding it quite hard at the moment.

Im john, Leader of M*H I do the filming and editing etc I use pinnacle Studios Ultimate to edit. Soon as I build my new pc Im gona start capturing with HD but I need to find a way to capture HD in the same sort of way as the Dazzle does. Havent Seen any HD Dazzles yet and I was gona try another editing programme. I know someone who uses vegas, he was able to change the warhawk blade into a light saber. Looked good. it had everyone asking questions. Whats an internal capture card. I know of them for the PC but how do you record from the PS3 with one?

Yea glad to be here im also glad to hear your building your own pc trust me its quite easy and alot of fun and an internal capture card is basicly a capture card that works like a dazzle does but is actully installed inside the pc in a pci slot on the motherboard.

I think an internal capture card is perfect for you if you want HD quality especialy if your building your own pc.

And sony vegas is one of the best video editers out there its easy and gives some really good quality films once you get the hang of it.

So how do you use a capture card to record PS3 gameplay?

You plug the ps3's tv cable either HDMI or standered into the ps3 as you would normaly then the other end into the capture card that would be found on the back of the pc.

That will be awkward for me to keep changing HD lead from HD tv to pc. I have my HD almost next to my PC, its all wired up properly so when I wana record I only change channel, and switch HD to scart as there both plugged into the back of my ps3 so all I do is change it over via PS3 settings.

mmm it can be awkward but if you were getting a HD dazzle you would have to change the cable back and forth any way.

A dazzle I can place anywere for me to get to. I bought a big desk witch will be awkward to fiddle with the HD lead from tv to pc everytime, desk already holds my HD 42in TV, to the left sits the ps3 (still have 1st generation PS3 ) to the right lies the sub for the pc then the pc monitor in the corner then my printer next to that, underdesk is my pc tower with my dazzle that sits on top of it. The dazzle has come in handy as I can record and edit anything with a scart lead or s-video lead and wont take up as much memory as HD I have a external 1TB hard drive with all my music, movies and about 60+ Ps3 video's ive been doing since xmas 07. (10min clips takes up about 270MB) Good thing about the way I upload to youtube as it gives the option to watch videos in standard quality or high quality and high quality still looks and sounds ok on youtube.

ah well Well if you change your mind and want something like a dazzel then this will proberbly be the closest to a dazzel
